이버멕틴 (ivermectin) 은 항기생충 약물로 널리 사용되는 약제이다.
기전
인간의 세포는 파괴하지 않으면서 기생충의 신경 혹은 근육 뉴런 시냅스에서 γ-aminobutyric acid chloride 채널에 결합하여 투과성을 촉진시켜 시냅스의 억제제로 작용하는 항구충제이며[1], TNF-α나 nuclear factor kappa B 같은 염증 유도 물질의 생성을 저해하고[2] interleukin-10 생성을 촉진해 항염증 작용을 일으킨다.
