안면 화염 혈관종 (port sine stain, nevus flammeus) 은 출생 시부터 나타나 성인까지 지속되는 선천 혈관 병변으로, 삼차신경의 피부 분지를 따라 분포하는 양상을 보인다[1].
역학
신생아 1,000명 중 3명에서 발생한다고 알려져 있다[2]. 10-20%에서만 양측성으로 나타난다[3].
임상 양상
피부 병변만 단독으로 나타나는 경우가 대부분이나 일부에서는 안와내 혈관 이상, 맥락막 혈관종 혹은 연질뇌막 다발혈관종 등의 이상을 동반할 수 있다[4][5]. 또한 약 20-40% 의 빈도로 피부 병변의 동측에 녹내장이 동반되는 것으로 보고되고 있다[6][7][8].
관련 증후군[9]
- 클리펠-트레노우네이-웨버 증후군 (Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber syndrome) : 정맥혈관 기형, 안면 화염 혈관종, 비대칭적 편측 사지의 비후 등을 보인다.
- 선천 모세혈관 확장 대리석 피부증 (cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenital) : 대리석 모양 피부, 정맥혈관 확장, 모세혈관 확장 등을 보인다.
- 스터지-웨버 증후군 : 안면 화염 혈관종, 안구의 혈관종, 두개강내 혈관종 등의 특징적인 징후를 보인다.
