[[습성 나이관련 황반변성]] 환자에서 첫 안구내 베바시주맙 주사 치료가 보고된 이래, 수많은 후향적 연구들과 매우 적은 규모의 전향적 연구들에서 베바시주맙 주사 치료가 시력을 호전시키고 FA에서 누출이 감소하며 부종이 호전되는 것으로 나타났다. 안구내 일회 주사 후 반감기는 여러 연구에서 3~10일 정도로 측정되었다<ref>Miyake T et al.
