예방적 아교질 교차 결합 (CXL)
잔여 각막에 시행하는 CXL은 각막의 강도를 향상시켜 장기적인 근시 변화 (퇴행) 와 각막 확장 질환의 가능성을 줄인다[2][3]. Kanellopoulos 등[4]은 예방적 CXL이 술 후 각막 상피의 두꺼워짐을 예방하여 근시 진행을 줄여준다고 보고하였다.
