비스포스포네이트 (bisphosphonate) 는 전세계의 골다공증 환자에게 널리 처방되고 있는 약이다.

기전

파골세포의 기능을 억제함으로서 골흡수를 감소시켜 골절 예방 효과를 보인다[1].

순응도

3년에서 10년 이상까지 장기적인 사용을 해야하는 약이지만[2], 6개월간 지속적인 약 복용 비율은 34.8~71.3% 밖에 되지 않았으며, 그 원인으로 부작용에 의한 것이 큰 비율로 차지한다[3].
