눈꺼풀 경계부 (lid wiper) 는 마이봄샘 뒤쪽에서 눈꺼풀판밑 (subtarsal fold) 에 이르는 부분이다.
기능
눈을 깜빡일 때 눈꺼풀 가장자리 결막 (marginal conjunctiva) 이 안구 표면을 닦아주어 눈물막이 퍼지는 데 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다[1].
