데스메막 박리술

데스메막 박리술 (Descemet stripping only, DSO)

역사

각막내피의 재생 및 이동에 관한 연구가 보고되면서, 푹스각막이상증 환자에게 초음파수정체유화술 후 각막 내피세포 이식 없이 데스메막을 제거함으로써 중심부 각막 내피세포 재생 및 기능 회복된 국외 사례가 보고된 바 있다^[1]. Kaufman 등^[2]은 치료적인 목적으로 데스메막 박리술을 시행한 것을 descemetorhexis without endothelial keratoplasty (DWEK) 이라고 명명하였으며, Gorovoy에 의하여 descemet stripping only (DSO) 라고도 기술되었다.
