설로덱시드
설로덱시드 (sulodexide) 는 혈관벽의 구성 요소중 하나인 글리코사미노글리칸 (glycosaminoglycan, GAG) 으로, 당뇨 망막병증에서 사용되고 있다[1][2].

- heparin sulfate (80%)
- dermatan sulfate (20%)
효과
Weiss 등[5]과 Coccheri 등[6]의 연구에서 설로덱시드를 경구 복용하면 소화기관에서 N-아세틸-D-글루코사민으로 분해되어 GAG 합성에 이용 가능한 전구 물질을 증가시켜 혈관벽을 보호한다고 한다.
